Activities

Heswall Probus Club offers a wide range of activities to Members, from the youngest to the oldest, and the most active to the least active. Whatever your age and interests, you should be able to find a group of like minded people to meet up with on a regular basis.

In addition to regular opportunities to socialise at monthly lunches, weekly coffee mornings and on social outings, various club groups offer:

  • Walks - for our most active members, walks of up to 8 miles are organised regularly.
  • Rambles - if our longer walks would be too much for you, you can join us on a ramble of around 3 miles.
  • Bowls - the bowls group gets their woods rolling in the summer months.
  • Snooker - in the winter, snooker is played twice a week at Heswall British Legion in Pensby Road.
  • Cycling - a small group of members regularly takes to their bikes for a not too strenuous ride in the summer.
  • Book Club - our book club meets monthly and chats about the one or two books chosen for that month.

Please have a look at the page for each activity. As a member, you can partake in as many or as few as you wish.
