Probus Partners

Probus is primarily a social club for our members, but members' partners are always invited to our annual Chairman's Lunch and to regular social events. Many friendships have been formed amongst the partners after meeting others at lunches and social events. Sadly, following the demise of Probus members, their partners often lost contact with others they had met at Probus events.

The Probus Partners group was formed to enable widows of former members, and partners of current members, to meet socially at regular coffee mornings and lunches. It has been a roaring success and there are now over 40 in the group. The group meets once a month for coffee and a chat, and occasionally for lunch. These are ideal opportunities to socialise with other partners.

Coffee mornings and other social events

Coffee mornings are held once a month, generally at 10:30am on the first Tuesday, at the Red Fox in Thornton Hough. No need to book in advance - just turn up on the day! Next dates for your diary: Tuesday 1st April and 6th May 2025.

We also organise occasional lunches, for which booking in advance is essential. Please check here or your emails for details when lunches have been arranged.
