Snooker

We play at the Heswall Royal British Legion Club at the Telegraph Road end of Pensby Road in Heswall. The excellent facilities include two high quality full sized tables.

The Season runs from the 1st week in October to the 4th week of March, on Tuesday and Friday mornings, 9-30am to 12-30pm.

On average, 8-10 members regularly attend one or both of the sessions. To ensure all members can enjoy the session, games are timed if there is higher turnout. We usually play three frames during each session. 

As to be expected, there are all levels snooker skills. Without penalties for missed shots, in-offs or other foul shots, the scores would be a lot lower!

To encourage up and coming Dennis Taylors, the Section runs an Annual Handicap Tournament. The few better players are given horrendous handicaps so there is a cup waiting to be won by many a beginner.

If you are a talented player, your skill will not be seen as a sign of misspent youth!
