Walks

All walks are held on a Thursday. The walks can be anywhere between 5 and 8 miles, so a reasonable level of fitness is expected. See also the Rambles page for shorter walks of up to 3 miles.

Walkers meet in the car park by Heswall Squash Club (behind the Glegg Arms) at 9:30 am. Walks may be modified in the event of inclement weather. Enquiries regarding a particular walk should be directed to the leader.

MEMBERS AND GUESTS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY JOIN THESE WALKS AT THEIR OWN RISK. IT IS THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITY TO DECIDE ON THEIR LEVEL OF CAPABILITY TO PARTICIPATE. IF NEEDED, FURTHER DETAILS OF THE TERRAIN AND DIFFICULTY CAN BE DETERMINED FROM THE LEADER PRIOR TO TAKING PART.

DRIVERS OFFERING LIFTS SHOULD ENSURE THAT THEIR INSURANCE COVERS PASSENGERS.
